Those metal ones sound really neat and something I'd be very interested in buying or making at some point! What I have now definitely wouldn't hold up to much of anything beyond household use. Getting some metal claws I could actually pry things open with would be a dream.

Scale mail would be a nice addition to what I have now, although I think I'd want to tweak the base gloves to feel a little more natural too...what I have now isn't super thick, but thick enough that I lose almost all of my dexterity. That being said, the more I wear them, the better I get at doing everyday tasks with them.
