Vaccine #1!

Wheeee, I got my first vaccine dose!

I did have some side effects (sore arm, aches, and chills), which I mostly slept through last night. I actually feel pretty good now, but not 100%. I'm planning to go cross country skiing later today, so hopefully that'll fend off the rest of the ick I'm feeling. Well worth ~ 12 hours of relatively mild discomfort to start feeling a little safer. 😊

How was the ski trip?

It was...interesting. It was extremely warm and the snow was kind of slushy in some places. On the way back down (it was almost all uphill on the way in), it was super slick, and I faceplanted hard enough that I got snow behind my sunglasses and my hat flew off XD

Probably won't ski there again, but still, it was nice being out. I went downhill skiing yesterday to make up for my bad xc skiing experience, so I'm content!
