Cave cave cave!

Wheeee, I suck at keeping up with journals here.

Anyway, I got to take a tour of a cave today! A little wet in parts, but the majority was cozy and dry, and would have made a very nice lair. Bonus photo of a cool whale skull fossil replica they had in the gift shop.

Not much else going on here besides too many classes and too many responsibilities. Oof.

Thankee! Just taking one class this semester, so things have been good! Making progress on my dissertation, which has been very nice.

How have things been going on your end?

I'm just starting my studies--I got into graduate school this semester; don't think I told you yet. Things were very touch and go for a while before getting into grad school; I had to leave Tucson immediately after relocating there for work, but since I've moved to New England for school they've improved immensely. Right now I have my general thesis topic selected, but am working on some of the specifics as I learn more about my taxa.

Money remains an issue (I'm employed, but underemployed), but I have enough to survive off of and can manage to afford schooling.

That's awesome about grad school! New England is so beautiful

Hopefully money issues ease up soon...I'm definitely in a similar situation money-wise because ecology and wildlife studies pay garbage :/
